User :   hi my father has just been admitted to hospital having been waken presenting the following symptoms, pains, blue face, foam at the mouth. he already takes anti hypertensive medication. He is abroad at the moment and I don't know what's going on. Could you guess what it may be? Thanks

User :   i cant be very specific as my parents are abroad and i just had a phone call from my mother but ok

Doctor :   Any other respiratory illnesses in the past ?
User :   nope
Doctor :   Blue face is called Central Cyanosis or lack of oxygen in the blood , which could be due to varied reasons : User :   hmm, i was worried about the foaming at the mouth
User :   he had h.pylori infection which was treated with triple threapy recently
Doctor :   Foaming of the mouth may be due to a no. of reasons, first did you enquire if he had any animal,snake,reptile,insect bite ?
Doctor :   In which part of the world do your parents stay ?
User :   yes, he woke up at nite with pains and my mum saw him like that and lost consciousness
Doctor :   Central cyanosis can be caused by Abnormal hemoglobin levels,
heart disease,
Doctor :   I feel the H.pylori is not the cause for the recent emergency which is a totally different outcome.
Doctor :   The best thing that happened was that he had been admitted to the hospital immediately.

User :   yup, mum called the ambulance. he got up went to the toilet before the ambulance came
User :   he was disorientated and lost balance
Doctor :   It would be best if he would be screened for the bites, heart problems - CPK, CK & for Respitatory troubles.
Doctor :   Any heart valve diseases , COPD , Pulmonary embolism has to be ruled out.
