User :   i was told it is called herschberger's disease - might have been misinformed.
User :   yes
User :   let me explain
User :   please..
User :   Hirschsprung's disease is a blockage of the large intestine due to improper muscle movement in the bowel. It is a congenital condition, which means it is present from birth.
User :   The abnormal section of colon must be removed with surgery. Most commonly, the rectum and abnormal part of the colon are removed. The healthy part of the colon is then pulled down and attached to the anus.
User :   Symptoms improve or go away in most children after surgery
User :   thank you so much for the information. unfortunate it took 19 months for this to be determined, but at least it will be treated now. thank you again.
User :   your most welcome
User :   i wish for the speedy recovery of your nephew
User :   take care
User :   thank you, Doctor. Good day.
User :   you too
User :   good bye
