User :   I want to know... what could be reason for high haemoglobin count

User :   the query is for my family member ... recently diagnosed for malaria

User :   we did 3-4 blood tests in 6 days time

User :   his blood platellets count had reduced to 0000 , then reduced to 0000 and now raised to 0000

Doctor :   that since the patient is suffering from malaria and having low platelet count its the body defense system by which the oxygen carrying capacity of the blood is increased

Doctor :   and anti malarial drugs are known to cause a rise
Doctor :   so its a normal body response

User :   so its a normal situation u mean to say... post malaria?
User :   no.. he does not have any other medical conditions like diabities/high bp etc.. nothing
