Doctor :   HI
User :   Hi
User :   you name pls
User :   sir actually i want to know about heb b is it curable.
Doctor :   may i know if you have tested positive for it ?
User :   no i did not do any test till date.just for information.
Doctor :   hepatitis B may be acute or chronic
Doctor :   most of the times , the body fights it out and gets cured
Doctor :   only in few conditions and some people infection will remain in the body and re appear
User :   is it completely curable or a major disease.
Doctor :   generally if it is acute , it is completely cured
Doctor :   90 to 95% adults fight the disease, but if it is chronic it will be persisting and may become severe
User :   secondly you are saying.symptoms occur within 3 weeks but may have no symptoms.what does this mean.
Doctor :   i mean that , in many cases the virus will gain entry in our body , remain like that without manifesting any symptoms at all , and after many months the symptoms can start
Doctor :   so we say a person is infected , even if he has no symptoms . the presence of the virus is confirmed only by blood test and not by presence or absence of his symptoms
User :   can i do it now it is 2 months from condom break incident and 2 months 10 days from previous incident or a 3 month test is authentic for both heb b and hiv.
Doctor :   you can do it now .
User :   sir i thing how does hiv take entry into body through sore cuts or from mouscous membrane or from where we urinate area.
Doctor :   it is a blood borne disease
Doctor :   hence it is expected to gain entry through any skin ,mucuous memberane and sharing needles as well from an infected person
Doctor :   if there is a blood contact in the genital area , irrespective of cuts , we recommend a screening as it is a very sensitive area
Doctor :   are you following my suggestions sir ?
User :   yes
User :   incase of hebititus also blood contact is required or simple touch in anal or veginal touch will also infect.
Doctor :   blood contact is the main route for hepatitis also
Doctor :   any un protected sex , will have a risk for getting the infection
User :   sir i read lot of articles and doctors also say that if mensuration blood gets into cannot permate into intact skin unless it touches moscuos membrane.
User :   or skin has rashes or cuts.
User :   and mouscos membrane in codom is covered by skin.
Doctor :   yes , but i would also want to tell you that , we cannot exclude the chances of risk
Doctor :   as generally the mucus membrane or skin in the genital will be very thin and some cuts may go un noticed and get invisible
Doctor :   hence if there is a history of blood contact on any genital area , we will suggest to test for it , just to be safe
User :   so you are saying because of cuts.otherwise if blood remains in condom it cannot infect.
Doctor :   are you with me ?
User :   yes
Doctor :   i am saying it can infect , i cannot rule out that there is no chance of infection
User :   sir one thing i want to ask you in my condom break was stool touch.does stool also have some std.
Doctor :   no , the risk of STD with stool is very minimal , almost less than one percent i would sa , so dont worry
Doctor :   but i would advice not to go for anal sex as it leads to complication . becareful next time
User :   sure but your are more concerned about blood incident.right sir.
Doctor :   yes , blood has maximum chances
Doctor :   not stool or saliva
User :   one thing we have never or sex or kissing.
Doctor :   i did not get you
User :   i said no oral contact was there ever.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   do not worry about the incident of stool contact
User :   secondly soon after the incident i went to 2 urlogist and physician they examned my genitical area and said that there is no cuts.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   did the doctors not suggest for any tests ? did you mean you went after anal sex or the episode of blood contact with condom break ?
User :   yes they recommended tests same as you are saying.yes after 4-5 days of incident.
Doctor :   it is upto you to decide now
Doctor :   i feel there is no harm in getting yourself tested
Doctor :   it will help you in relieving your worry for ever
Doctor :   i hope you followed my suggestions
User :   sure sir.blood contact did not break condom it got inside.
Doctor :   ok , i understood what you wanted to explain
Doctor :   please do the tests
Doctor :   and next time be careful enough
Doctor :   better not have multiple sexual partners
Doctor :   and avoid anal sex also
User :   sure sir.hebititus b antibody test or hsbag
Doctor :   go in for both
Doctor :   the doctor will suggest you , do not worry about it
Doctor :   they will direct you towards it , just follow the advice
Doctor :   there is also hep b viral dna TEST
Doctor :   you may need that if suggested
Doctor :   i hipe you followed my suggestions
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me
