User :   i have accidentally missed 2 of my contraception pills this week and yesterday i had some spotting and it was a really light pink colour. this morning i woke up and have had heavy bleeding like ive gotten my period. I am not meant to be getting my period until next week.
User :   it is saturday today and i missed my pill on tuesday and wednesday and took it thursday and friday
User :   i am meant to start the placebo pill today though
Doctor :   Did you take two pill a day non Thursday and Friday
User :   no just one pill per day on thursday and friday
Doctor :   Ok, i do not think missing the pill would have caused the bleeding
User :   im trying to figure out what has caused the bleeding
Doctor :   consult a gynecologist. for a clinical examination
Doctor :   i suspect hormonal imbalance , well a good detailed examination will find other more signs to confirm its due to hormonal imbalace
User :   i have been taking amoxicillin, do you think that could be something to do with it?
Doctor :   no.
User :   i thought it might be implantation bleeding but i did a pregnancy test when the bleeding wasnt so heavy and it says i was not pregnant
Doctor :   . implantation bleeding will just be spotting
User :   is this a common thing to happen??

Doctor :   and more common on women on pills
User :   so taking alphamox wont make it any worse?
Doctor :   no, its safe
