User :   i have hearing loss problem,my hearing fluctuates.the problem usually start with heaviness in the back side of head,with giddiness,crackling sound is heard in the ear.please recommend solutions?

User :   since 2002 ocasionally,it has been improvng with diff treatments

User :   in 2002 dr abrol prescribe medler,hearng improvd.2003 jan loss of hearng noticed visited fortis hospital dr prescribe antibiotic n antiallergic medicene hearng improved.oct 2004 dere was sudddeen loss of hearng dr abrol prescribed omnicatrol with stugeron n hearng 2005 hearng loss again medicene repeated by dr abrol but hearng improve slightly.dr sharma consulted at aiims he prescribed vertin with solerbin 4 1 month n hearng improve to comfortable 2006 summer vertin was taken to no effect,omnicortrol was also taken but hearng did nt improve to comfortable level,dr change medicene from omnicotrol to wysalonhearng improved.
User :   in 2007 again hearng loss occured above med did nt gve much effect

User :   mri,hearng test taken .mri was clear.

User :   hearng in one hear is almost neglible,while secnd fluctuates
Doctor :   i will suggest you to undergo A CSF ANALYSIS

Doctor :   CSF stands for cerebro spinal fluid ... if one does suspect meningitis which is the inflammation of meninges covering the brain. the symptoms do come as hearing loss. since you are responding to antibiotics and your MRI is clear ... thats the next best step which will help us to pinpoint the cause
