User :   I have had a headache for a week now. Aleve, Tylenol, and Ibuprofen are not working. My blood pressure is 108/62 (normally it runs 130-140/80-90) and pulse is 66 (normally 90-100). What is going on?

Doctor :   Can you briefly describe the pain - nature of the pain and which side of the head is aching?
User :   throbbing pain, on the back, sides, and front of my head
Doctor :   Do you have other symptoms such as fever, vomiting, visual disturbances?
User :   I have had some dizziness
Doctor :   Have you had such symptoms in the past?
User :   No.
Doctor :   Do you have any other medical illness such as diabetes/hypertension/cardiac problems/migraine headaches?
User :   No.
Doctor :   Are you on any regular medical drugs including oral contraceptive pills?
Doctor :   Are you there?
User :   I have an IUD
User :   No other drugs.

Doctor :   Since your headaches are sudden in onset, you would need evaluations to know what the cause for the headaches is.
Doctor :   You may need a brain scan.
Doctor :   Hence I suggest you to consult a neurologist for physical examination and the evaluation.
User :   Ok, and what could the brain scan show?
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?
User :   yes
Doctor :   Brain scan are essentially for ruling out serious causes of headaches - causes such as intracranial lesions, minor bleeds.
User :   Ok.
Doctor :   Hence I suggest you to consult a neurologist.
