Doctor :   Hi
User :   hello
Doctor :   Absence of headache and no vomiting are features against the diagnosis of brain tumour.
User :   im 18 years old also if that helps
Doctor :   The shaking /tremors that you have are probably due to anxiety/panic.
User :   thats what im thinking. i for some reason think this is a tumor
User :   except i havnt had a headache for 2-3 months
Doctor :   Headache alone is not classical feature of brain tumour unless proved by radioimaging technique.
User :   if my vision was off like a brain tumor would cause would i have problems reading this convo? i never understood that part.
Doctor :   let me put that across in simple terms that you can understand.
Doctor :   In the absence of associated symptoms, a dull headache is not classical of brain tumour.
Doctor :   Various other cause including anxiety/stress could be causing it.
Doctor :   A doctor uses radio imaging techniques such as CT scan/MRI brain, if there is a suspicion of brain tumour or any other intracranial pathology.
Doctor :   So, if you wish to rule brain tumour, you need to consult a doctor and get the scans done.
User :   with the vision problem thing how could i tell if i had a vision problem?
Doctor :   Brain tumour medically is one of the intracranial space occupying lesion.
Doctor :   Hence apart from the headache and vomiting, other focal neurological signs/symptoms can be associated with the symptom.
Doctor :   So depending on the location of tumour, one can have seizures, facial weakness, limb weakness, visual impairment( blindness or partial blurring of vision), limb weakness and so on.
Doctor :   These focal neurological symptoms are seen in some conditions.
User :   if i had vision problem would i be able to read this?
Doctor :   If you are reading this conversation really well without any assistance, then your vision is not significantly affected.
User :   ok
User :   i can
User :   thank you
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hello
Doctor :   How can I help you?
User :   well i developed a headache today and for some reason i think its a brain tumor i was wondering if you could help me because i think im having an anxiety attack because of it. first thing i would like to know if i had a brain tumor how would i know if my vision was effected? would i hve a hard time reading?
Doctor :   I have discussed with you regarding diagnosis of brain tumour with you our previous chat.
Doctor :   There are no additional information apart from the ones I mentioned as far as the diagnosing brain tumour is concerned.
User :   ok do you think its just a anxiety attack?
Doctor :   Your symptoms are suggestive of anxiety.
User :   ok i think it is because agian the headache was very dull
User :   i got lightheaded once but i think that is average for 18 year olds
Doctor :   If you meant dizziness by lightheadedness, then this could be part of the anxiety symptoms.
User :   whats a good way to relax because im thinking that im blowing this out of poprtions but i cant seem to relax
Doctor :   Measures to destress are
Doctor :   1. Deep breathing exercises and breath counting.
Doctor :   2. A cool shower
Doctor :   3. Music therapy
Doctor :   4. Proper and regular bed rest
Doctor :   5. Physical exercise, yoga and meditation.
Doctor :   These are few simple measures to destress.
User :   ok
Doctor :   6. If the symptoms persist inspite of these measures, then antianxiety pills can be used.
User :   i havnt even had to take advil for this headache and its pretty much gone now..are tumor headaches severe?
Doctor :   these pills are prescription pills and you need to see a doctor to avail them.
