Doctor:How can I help you?
User:Hello Doctor .. XXXXXXX here
Doctor:Yes, XXXX ; please proceed with your query.
User:My wife is having knee pain from few months (sometimes little bit unbearable)
User:just wanted to know what could be the reasons.. and what should we do
User:it started after delivery... around 1 year before
Doctor:May I know her age, weight and height?
Doctor:Is the pain persistent throughout the day?
User:27 / 68 KG / 5'4"
User:no... from last couple of days... it is almost the entire day
User:she had a cesarean delivery
Doctor:Do you notice swelling of the joint?
Doctor:Is she able to move the joint freely particularly as she wakes up?
User:if someone hits her knee, then pain is quite unbearable at that moment
Doctor:Is she having on and off fever?
Doctor:How is her appetite?
Doctor:Has she lost weight?
User:it's normal
Doctor:Have you seen a doctor for this problem?
User:no... no weight loss
User:not yet seen to any doctor
Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:The symptoms that your wife report does not clearly match with a serious organic condition.
Doctor:however my suspicion is arthritis either due to wear and tear or due to an inflammatory condition.
User:hmmm... ok
Doctor:It needs to be evaluated thoroughly to understand the exact cause.
Doctor:She will need to consult an orthopedician for examination. The doctor will then order for X-rays and blood test to start with.
Doctor:If needed CT/MRI scan can be done to identify previous injuries.
Doctor:Treatment will be based on investigation findings.
User:hmmmm.. ok
Doctor:At this point without examination and investigation, it is difficult to provide a good solution.
User:hmmm.. sure... that makes sense
Doctor:I suggest you to see the orthopedician and get her treated.
User:will visit to orthopedician in next few days
Doctor:Hope it is clear to you
User:sure Doctor

User:yes, it is clear and very helpful as well
