User :   Its regarding my son who is having fever from tuesday. Temperature is not always there but during the day its coming twice in the range of 101.

User :   His age is 2yrs 2 months

User :   Whenever he is having fever above 100 we are giving him P125. and he is not interested to take food.

User :   have undergone blood test ( Haemotology ) and also malaria test....but malaria parasite was not found.

User :   ESR is higher range - 12.

User :   No symptoms as such. But prior to this we have gone on an outing to Puri and he was into hot and cold temp. very frequently.

User :   No... Whats Burining mic turituion. Cant get it

Doctor :   Its the sign for Urinary tract infection.
User :   can he have fever for the same and fever is not always present.
Doctor :   yes, fever is one of the symptoms present in UTI.

User :   His physcian is out of station and will be back by today EOD.

User :   He also suffred from Kawasaki disease in the year 2010.

User :   Can you suggest some test for UTI.
Doctor :   After going through the description provided by you, I feel that he might be suffering from Viral fever and the other possibilities could be a bacterial infection.
Doctor :   Urine routine test is needed to be done for UTI and if any bacteria seen then need to go for urine for culture and sensitivity test.
User :   But he always have boiled water each and every time.
Doctor :   Other test too are required like blood test for typhoid and antibodies test for dengue or chikungunya.
Doctor :   As he has been to puri where there was sudden climate changes going to extreme there is a very high probability of Viral fever.
Doctor :   And usually the treatment would be palliative and the fever would reduce within 7 days.
Doctor :   But it is important to rule out other causes by investigation.
