i am having cough for a long time now

intialy it started with fever
it was mild which went in a day
i went to doctor they gave rx cough sroup with some antibiotic and other medicine
they prescribed for 2 days
ok
but it is around a 3- 4 weeks now
mucocid is another tablet they prescibed
there is tickling feeling back at the throat which is leading to cough
initialy it decreased but now agian it is ncreasing
and now a days i feel very tired also
It is better to do a chest x-ray
what u think can be the reason
and where can i do chest x XXXXXXX
It is mostly allergicv
any clinic or i have to go hospital
