Doctor:How are you doing?
User:hello doctor. i am twenty years old and i study abroad. it has been two weeks i have problems with my stomach
Doctor:What is it that you exactly have?
User:actually i dont know if it is my stomach. i am a thin person 54 kg but even though i am thin i was eating all the time. breakfast snack lunch snack dinner snack.
User:i am still eating the way i used to eat but my stomach is upset
Doctor:That is actually a very healthy way to eat provided that you're eating small meals
User:and even though i feel hungry i don't have appetite
User:when i wake up i can hardly eat my breakfast (toast)
Doctor:Do you feel nauseated?
User:most of the times i will feel my stomach so upset! that i will just manage to eat my breakfast because i have to
User:most of the times.
User:no i am not pregnant!
User:when i feel like that i take stemetil . but they do not really help. i don't feel nauseated but still my appetite is not back
Doctor:Have you been trying to lose weight earlier?
User:also the last 4 days i have terrible headaches. and even though i eat well, and i drink lots of milk, water and i take my vitamin every morning i feel weak and i sleep all the time
User:no. never had a problem with weight. i am eating all the time without gaining much weight
Doctor:Migraine can be a possibility then
Doctor:Given the headache and severe nausea
Doctor:have you been under tremendous stress recently?
User:i first though that it could be a cold or a virus. thats why my stomach was upset like that. but i am really worried because i want to gain my appetite and eat the way i was eating.
Doctor:You would be able to
User:not really. i changed environment from home to the country i am studying
Doctor:I can assure you that
Doctor:Do you consider that a stressor?
User:it can be yes
Doctor:Most people would consider that to be a major stressor
User:but why does it take so long?
User:yesterday i ate my snack (a toast and a warm milk) and my stomach was so upset i could not eat dinner.
User:my stomach to recover
Doctor:When you say your stomach is upset, you mean you had diarrhoea or nausea?
User:no, i just feel my stomach beeing "hard" . and feeling kind of nauseated
Doctor:The bloating can be there because you are not eating well
Doctor:The nausea can be an association with the headache
Doctor:Have you had these headaches before?
Doctor:there are a couple of things you need to do then
User:yesterday and the day before i took a 1000mg aspirin
User:i was okay. but now the headache is back
Doctor:Did it help the headache?
Doctor:It will keep coming back if you dont destress
Doctor:The diagnosis of migraine can only be confirmed after you see a physician in person
Doctor:But stress really can precipitate migraine
Doctor:So destress
Doctor:do what you enjoy doing
Doctor:forget the food part
Doctor:its adding to the stress
User:why do i feel like sleeping all the time?
Doctor:Its with the migraaine
Doctor:It helps relieve the symptoms
Doctor:You will have an appetite again once you destress and take aspriin 325 mg upto 4 times daily with food
User:can i take paracetamol instead of aspirin?
Doctor:It wouldn't help so much with the pain
Doctor:But you must remember to take it with food
Doctor:It can otherwise cause severe burning pain in the stomach
Doctor:Just do the things you enjoy
Doctor:try some XXXXXXX breathing exercises
Doctor:These are the links
Doctor:Can I answer any more concerns?
User:i have natural valerian extracts for stress relief
User:can i use them? i usually use them during exam period
Doctor:That will only help you sleep
Doctor:Additionally, their safety in clinical trials has not been demonstrated
Doctor:So it would be best to use something which is clinically tested
Doctor:Yoga and Pranayams have been shown to produce substantial benefits
Doctor:They are great destressors
User:ok doctor! thank you very much
Doctor:Did I answer all you questions or is there something you want to clarify?
User:no you answered everything!
User:thank you
Doctor:Thanks for consulting me
Doctor:Have a great day ahead and just relax
