User:regarding tooth issues

User:I have two tooth on which root canal has been done
User:i didnt put a cap on both the tooth
User:it was done several years back
User:and then gradually my tooth started to break

User:but i was able to eat and everything, but a very occassional swelling or something
User:so from the last couple of days my gums are swelling and there is a pimple kinda thing, that comes out whenever i eat anything hard, like roti or chicken or something like that
User:the swelling thing lasts only for few hours
User:it would subside
User:it doesnt pain or anything
User:what do you think it is,
Doctor:From what you describe, it is unlikely that root canal and tooth infection is reason for pain / swelling

User:but it happens only below either of the tooth
