User:Hi on the last day of my period (3 days ago) the inner lips of my vagina became incredibly itchy, no discharge.. ive tried aloe vera and sudacrem but it hasnt made any difference. i havent changed soaps or anything and im a virgin could this just be from the rubbing from pads... what can be done to help it?
User:Have also take hydrocortisone(sp) tablets
Doctor:I feel it could be due to friction
Doctor:Use non synthetic pads
User:Can you suggest anything to stop the itching/help it heal quicker?
Doctor:you can take cetrizine tablets available over the counter for itching
Doctor:and you can apply diaper rash creams that are available for babies, this will make it much better
Doctor:instead you can also apply Lacto-calamine lotion
Doctor:If, there is associated pain or vaginal discharge, you should consult a gynecologist
