User:Hello Dr. thi XXXXXXX
User:I just wanted to check few things releted to gynic
Doctor:welcome to XXXXXXX please proceed with your query
Doctor:yes, i can assist you with your gynac queries
User:i have HSG done on 20th of XXXXXXX on my 9th day of period
Doctor:was it a ultrasound or a hysterosalpingogram ?
Doctor:USG or HSG ?
User:now i am 7 days late.. i had a bleeding for 3 days
User:HSG where they checked if i have a blocked fellopian tubes
User:both the tubes r normal
User:but i have a bicornuate uterus
Doctor:was the bleeding just like your regular periods ?
User:no it was light
User:not that heavy
User:11 of Feb was my normal date
User:but my perioad is not yet started... and i have noticed that i go to wash room many times
User:me and my husband r trying to conceive.
Doctor:you mean, that you have increased frequency of urination ?
User:yes. i do also i have a pain while urinating
User:mostly first two hours when i wake up.
Doctor:your symptoms could either be due to pregnancy or due to a Urinary infection
Doctor:The best way to confirm this would be to do a URINE PREGNANCY TEST
User:i am taking citralka
User:but no use
Doctor:the kit is available in most pharmacies , over the counter
Doctor:In case, it is positive, then it is more likely that you are pregnant
Doctor:In case, it is negative, then, you should go ahead and get a urinalysis, to check for urinary infection
User:yes i know.. but one thing, me and my husband had a relation only 8 days prior to my period date thats 4th and 5th
User:before that we didnt.
Doctor:you mean, around 3rd of feb ?
User:my question to you is will HSG delay the monthly cycle?
User:yes on 4th and 5 th of Feb
Doctor:yes, it can cause such changes
User:Also wen HSG done is there a possibility to conceive?
User:in that perticuler month?
Doctor:yes, definitely
Doctor:HSG , does not affect the chances of fertility
User:i need to still wait for any test i guess coz its too early as we had relation very late.
User:ohh ok.
User:only one possibility i think is may be i ovulated very late
User:if that there is a chance of conceiveing is that correct?
Doctor:first, if your cycles were regular , before and is of 28 day duration, then you will be ovulating on day 13-day 15 of the cycle
User:my cycle changes here and there any where btw 31-34
Doctor:in your case , ovulation could be on 24 -25th January, in such a case
User:i have a thyoid issue
User:i am on eltroxine
Doctor:in a 34 day cycle, in such a situation, your ovulation could be around 28th to 30 th of January
User:then there is no chance of me be a preggo this month, then i wonder what is the cause for my frequent urination
Doctor:In case, your periods were irregular, and you did not have intercourse before, 4-5th fEB, then the chances of pregnancy would be less likely
Doctor:as i mentioned earlier, the other cause can be a urinary infection
User:i have heard if you conceive frequent urination is teh one of the symptoms, but along with that i have a pain so i thing it could be coz of some infection and my late period is may be coz of HSG , rite?
Doctor:yes, that is right
Doctor:It is common for a few women , to get urinary infections, after a procedure like HSG
User:oh i c.
Doctor:FOR now, i would suggest, you to get a urinalysis
User:ok, sure i will consuct a doc for my urinary infection.
Doctor:this will confirm if you have a urine infection
User:thanks a lot Dr.
Doctor:You are welcome
