User :   thnx. I would like to know whether the HIV virus can be transmitted by just touching the precum/semen of an infected person, without intercourse ?
Doctor :   No , it do not get transferred by that way
User :   is the virus transmitted by saliva?

Doctor :   Saliva in severe cases of Hiv do contain the virus , but its considered that the infective dose is not achieved by the saliva transfer
User :   is there a certain period of time, that has to pass to see whehter you hav the virus?
Doctor :   yes, it is called window period which may vary from 3 months to a year,
Doctor :   once the virus gets in it will multiply to a number where it stimulates the body to produce the antibodies which are inturn detected to determine virus positivity

Doctor :   There will be minute abrasions in the oral cavity al the time due to mastication of the food or due to teeth , the virus entering from the secretions from the penis will gain entry into the blood stream through those abrasions
User :   ok, i had an encounter. I had oral sex with another man. I don't know whether he is HIV + or HIV negetive. we masturbated each other without intercourse. we did touch each others seminal fluids. he then sucked my penis. Is it possible for me to contract the virus in this way, if he is HIV + ?

Doctor :   ok , i stil consider you at risk , because if your partner is infective then he would have shedding the virus from the abrasions in his mouth which could gain entry into you through the penis

Doctor :   no, as i said it will need a minimum of 1 months to be caught by tests
