Doctor :   Large parasagittal meningiomas may result in bilateral leg weakness.
Doctor :   Parasagittal meningiomas are the most common of the meningiomas
Doctor :   The age of the patient at the time the tumor is removed influences outcome
Doctor :   Younger patients tend to do better after surgery than older patients do do.
Doctor :   However, older patients in otherwise good health should not assume that their chances of a good outcome are diminished.
User :   can you suggest considering her age which option is better ...go for surgery or leave it...
Doctor :   That depends on the size of tumor
Doctor :   the problems that it is causing

Doctor :   I cannot say regarding the finer details of the treatment
Doctor :   That is decided by neurosurgeon
Doctor :   depending on the disease status
Doctor :   WWW.WWWW.WW Doctor :   Use the link i have send to get neurologists from delhi
Doctor :   Any way the prognosis of the surgery depends on age too
Doctor :   And there is a chance of recurrence following surgery
Doctor :   All that details can be detialed to you by only a neurosurgeon
Doctor :   GAMMA KNIFE SURGERY for intracranial meningiomas seems to be a safe and effective treatment
Doctor :   But in the parasagittal region it is to be used cautiously depending on patient age and general condition, tumour size and location, presenting symptoms, and patient preference.
Doctor :   So please discuss with your neurosurgeon
Doctor :   Is there anything else i can help you with?
Doctor :   Are you there?
