User:I have some problem in throat

User:seems to be having some cold
User:for a quite long time
User:not sure whether it is natural for everyone

User:nose is not blocked but i have some irritation in the throat

Doctor:So there are a few things you can do to help this
Doctor:First, take steam inhalation twice a day
Doctor:Second, drink tulsi and ginger tea
Doctor:Third, you can take Tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once daily
Doctor:This is to be taken only when it becomes really bad

Doctor:try and notice what makes the irritation worse and better
Doctor:try and keep a symptom diary
Doctor:when was it bad, what did you do a day before
Doctor:so for example you're allergic to dust
Doctor:keep a wet handkerchief on your nose when you go out
Doctor:vaccuum yourr house
Doctor:wash your bed linen in hot water
Doctor:whatever be the allergen, try and avoid it
User:i am not sure of seems like when we have cold some kind of saliva is stuck within the thorat

User:also i have one another problem.. i am not able to get proper sleep

User:may be.. if I have some work to accomplish it will be running all along in my mind

Doctor:Your productivity will go down if you dont sleep
User:yes.. but cant avoid..
User:my subconscious mind always keeps on thinking
Doctor:then you need to do some relaxation exercises like meditation or pranayama
Doctor:also, avoid tea/coffee/cigarettes/alcohol at night time
Doctor:No exercise after 7 pm if you sleep by 10 pm
Doctor:also, chamomile tea is a herbal tea
Doctor:this helps calm people down and get some sleep
User:i don't drink tea/ coffee.. I used to sleep at 12 and wake up at 8.30..
User:no time to perform meditation or pranayama
Doctor:you can do it for just 15 minutes
Doctor:it will help a lot
User:have to try.. .even for that have to concentrate a lot
Doctor:just sit in a quiet room
User:any particular meditation technique
Doctor:and whatever thoughts are coming
Doctor:let them come
Doctor:just promise yourself that you wouldnt think about it

Doctor:like 3-4 litres a daay
Doctor:preferably no rice/roti after 7:30 pm
Doctor:50 minutes of brisk walking in a day
Doctor:and kapalbhati pranayams for 15 minutes daily
