Doctor :   Since she is in early pregnancy, the use of medications are limited and any medications used has to be used cautiously and sparcely.

Doctor :   1. Drinking a glass of hot/warm water during the spell of cough, help in soothening

Doctor :   2. Use other throat lozenges such as products such as vicks, nivaran and so on.
Doctor :   3. Sitting in an inclined position, instead of lying down helps in reducing the frequency of cough.
Doctor :   4. Deep slow breathing.
Doctor :   5. Antitussive syrups such as benadryl are available over the counter,
