User :   hi, i am around 5 weeks pregnant with a large 10cm posterior wall fiberiod
User :   i have found out that i am around 5-6 weeks pregnant

User :   however, the baby sac is elongated and there is no heart beat at this stage, though there is yolk and pole
User :   i am worried as the fiberiod is pressed against the baby sac and therefore there is chance of miscarridge?? or improper development of baby?

Doctor :   Did your gynecologist say what kind of fibroid is present like subserosal or submucous or mural fibroid after an Ultrasound?
User :   subserosal
Doctor :   Ok, if it subserosal fibroid then the chances of it pressing on the foetal sac is near to zero
User :   but then why is sac elongated?
Doctor :   The heart beat takes some time to appear on Ultrasound
User :   i was told it should be round
Doctor :   You can get a repeat scan
Doctor :   after two weeks or as your gynecologist to look for heart beat of the foetus
User :   what about the shape of the sac
Doctor :   Shape has no significance at this stage
