User :   could you please suggest a medicine for fever and loose motion?
Doctor :   May I know since when are you having the symptoms?
Doctor :   How many episodes of loose stools did you have?
User :   from yesterday
Doctor :   Is the stools completely watery?
User :   7 episodes
User :   morning was ok .. noon was watery.. evening was ok
Doctor :   Do you have abdominal pain / bloody stools associated with it?
Doctor :   Are you having vomiting also?
User :   little abdominal due physical workout.. no bloody stool.. no vomiting

User :   i have taken electrol
Doctor :   Do you have history of diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma or allergies in the past?
User :   no.. nothing

Doctor :   The symptoms you have seems to be due to an infection.
Doctor :   The most common infection that I can think of is viral.
User :   infection due to?
Doctor :   Diarrhea due to viral infections usually settle in 2-3 days.
User :   is this related to my physical workout?? i have just started it
Doctor :   and hence your symptoms should be improving by tomorrow.
Doctor :   Physical work out does not influence viral infections, however drinking from an unsterilized source or eating from an unsterilized source or exposure to person who had a viral infection may have caused it.
Doctor :   As far as the treatment is concerned, the following measures should help you.
Doctor :   1. Take calpol 500mg tablets if you are feverish or have severe body pains.
Doctor :   2. You may take one tablet of loperamide, if loose stools are persisting.
User :   ok
Doctor :   3. Lactobacillus supplements such as tab sporolac one tablet three times a day for 2 days.
Doctor :   4. Continue taking plenty of water with electrolyte powder (electral).
User :   ok... any restriction on my diet?
Doctor :   5. Coconut water, rice gruel (Kanji) and other nourishing drinks can be extremely useful now.
User :   anything to avoid?
Doctor :   6. Avoid too spicy diet, avoid any junk foods, drink from a sterilized source (boiled and sterilized water at home, sterilized and package water preferably outside)
Doctor :   These measures should help reduce the symptoms.
Doctor :   If the symptoms persists or if fever increases, you will need oral antibiotics.

Doctor :   In such cases consult a near by doctor who can prescribe you the antibiotics.
