Fever for 2 week, taken meftal-P, not gaining weight, complete blood count - Online Doctor Chats

User :   hello Doc, i have a 1.5yr old baby
User :   He has been having fever 2 weeks back
User :   last week there was no fever

User :   2 weeks back his fever was very high ..103 degrees
User :   the doc had prescribed meftal-P

User :   and after 3 days of tking the medicine the fever subsided
User :   now again today he has about 100 degrees
User :   i am unable to understand.. wht is the issue
User :   he has nt been gaining weight
User :   oflate he lost about 100-200 gms

User :   about 2 weeks back he had doc has prescribed sme medicine
User :   he does nt want to eat food
User :   is extremely irritable
User :   and cranky

User :   2 weeks he was irritable and then 1 entire week he had tempareture
User :   the doc had said if after giving meftal, still it does not subside then need to do test for malaria
User :   but since the fever went away, we did nt do the test
