User :   Fell from a height of 5 feet face forward two days ago suffering ankle sprain and a variety of bruises. I have been nauseous all day and now I am throwing up along with a headache on right forehead area which I did slightly hit on landing. I was not unconscious at any time. Could this still be a very mild concussion and is there anything besides rest that i should do no? I live alone.
Doctor :   Hi,
Doctor :   User :   ok
User :   are you looking at my question?
Doctor :   yes, i read it
Doctor :   How many times did you vomit till now ?
User :   twice so far, close together but with several expressions each time.
Doctor :   was there nausea before vomiting ?
User :   I was nauseaous all day long at work; couldn't even eat anything
Doctor :   ok, these symptoms can be either due to mild concussional edema or even a reactionary hemorrhage
User :   what is a reactionary hemorrhage?
Doctor :   it is bleeeding which do not happen on the incident but after some time say 24 to 48 hours , this occurs due to failure of secondary hemostasis ( good clot produuction
Doctor :   )
User :   so what do you suggest apart from another ER visit?
Doctor :   wait for another 24 hours , if the vomiting and nausea are getting any wors4e then only help would be in ER
User :   ok thank you.
Doctor :   and meanwhile ask your doctor for Glycerol syrup it will help to get rid of the symptoms if its mild edema
User :   ok
User :   i guess that's it. Gnite
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me , kindly provide your feedback
