User :   hi have a question regarding erectile dysfunction
User :   hello?
Doctor :   hello
Doctor :   may i know your age please ?
User :   ok so i am a 31 yr old male
Doctor :   ok
User :   i dont believe ive ever ejaculated while conscious
User :   i.e. a number of wet dreams but never due to physical sensation
Doctor :   are you not able to get any erection ?
User :   i dont have an issue with erection as such, just ejaculation
User :   quite often when i take a shit semen also comes out
Doctor :   so you do get proper hard erections and also wet dreams
Doctor :   do you masturbate ?
User :   so just to clarify, i never have an issue getting hard, but no amount of physical 'assistance' either by myself or with a woman seems to get me 'excited' enough to ejaculate
User :   proper hard erections, very occassional wet dream
User :   so i always seem to be able to satisfy the woman, but i can never 'get off' myself
Doctor :   do you smoke or consume alcohol ?
User :   nope
User :   im a pretty healthy chap
Doctor :   thats good
Doctor :   and no medical problem in the past ?
User :   i was diagnosed with CMT about 13 yrs ago
User :   WWW.WWWW.WW
Doctor :   do you experience an orgasm ?
User :   nope!
User :   it always seemed like the sort of thing that would sort itself out eventually... but hey man.... im 31... obviously need some help here
Doctor :   sure i do agree
Doctor :   now what you have is what we call as anejaculation
User :   ok
Doctor :   it can be due to some problem with your prostate gland
Doctor :   or a blockage in your urethra
Doctor :   you would be required to see a urologist
Doctor :   Anejaculation due to partial blockages of the urethra can be treated with surgery
Doctor :   Otherwise, when fertility is not an issue, no medical treatment is needed
User :   just to clarify, as i explained no amount of excitation seems to make me WANT to ejaculate
User :   i wouldnt describe it as saying that i wanted to but 'couldnt' due to a blockage
User :   its more that i just dont seem to climax - no matter how hot the chick is
User :   thats why ive never really masturbated - it doesnt seem to do a whole lot for me
Doctor :   well you would be undergoing a test thats called as a DOPPLER ULTRASOUND OF THE PENIS
Doctor :   that will give the exact picture
User :   so you're saying a a physical deficiency could be blocking the sensations build to an orgasm?
User :   sensations THAT buld
Doctor :   it can be ONE OF THE reason
Doctor :   thats why we have diagnostic tests to pinpoint the cause
Doctor :   and you can be treated accordingly
User :   fair enough
User :   ok next issue
User :   my calf muscles have started spasming pretty much all the time
Doctor :   do you play sports ?
User :   not religiously
User :   i ride my bike around town and usually get a few hours running around each week but nothing hard core
Doctor :   since when is this happeneing ?
Doctor :   happening ?
User :   probably the last 3 or 4 months
User :   its light rippling of the surface muscle
User :   i dont feel my calf muscle clench - but you can see it move
User :   looks like a bunch of tiny aliens in my leg
Doctor :   well some times it just increase nerve sensitivity, which goes by it self
Doctor :   its nothing serious
User :   i kinda assumed it may be related to my CMT?
Doctor :   not thats not the reason
User :   ok... anything you'd recommend?
User :   more exercise? less?
User :   it looks quite bizarre and its been happening for months
Doctor :   it can last for months and then just go away
User :   bizarre
Doctor :   you can exercise as usual
User :   ok well last question then... i sometimes have trouble sleeping (or particularly adjusting to jet lag - travelling east). how do you feel about sleeping pills?
Doctor :   well thats a big no no
Doctor :   as thay can be addictive
User :   ok
User :   what would you recommend?
Doctor :   i can tell you to try melatonin its a over the counter medication
Doctor :   3 gm
User :   what does it do?
Doctor :   it just sets the mental clock
Doctor :   its approved without prescription
Doctor :   by the FDA
User :   ok
Doctor :   you can get it at a local pharmacy
User :   ok... how much time we have left here? i was kinda expecting to see a clock
Doctor :   it will show when you have last 2 mins left
User :   anyway, i also have bouts of depression... just feel chemically 'sad' - i know it must be chemical cause i honestly have nothing to complain about
User :   great family, job, friends, admirers etc.
Doctor :   then its just in your mind. you need to just get out from the negative thoughts when you get them
User :   how?
Doctor :   do you meditate ?
Doctor :   or yoga ?
Doctor :   they do wonders
User :   i chatted with a doctor about this a few years ago and he basically said 'youre not depressed, you dont need medication'
User :   hmmm perhaps i should
Doctor :   yes and you will surely see the change
User :   ok... im an australian living in canada... you may be more familiar with the process of getting an appointment with a urologist... do i need to get a referral from a regular doc first?
User :   (you do need to get a referral for that sort of thing in australia)
Doctor :   no you dont need a referral
Doctor :   you can see a urologist directly
User :   you just google 'urologist' and give them a call?
Doctor :   you can ask around in your area
Doctor :   i am sure people can guide you and tell you who is good
User :   ok thanks for your time Imaginary Doctor on the Internet
User :   at least ive got a plan of action now
Doctor :   you take care
