Doctor :   hi how can i help you
User :   OK - first let me be clear and say that I am asking these questions because I have someone living with me (a friend) who tells me she is terminally ill and I think she is full of poop - so, I am doing my own research to verify the validity of the medical information she has shared
User :   so - that said
Doctor :
User :   I have a friend who claims to have "nymposidic sarcoma" which I have already found out is a type of cancer that does NOT exist
User :   she told me last week that she has a tumor in her head and it "causes BLOOD and fluid build up in her head that the doctors have to drain"
User :   I called her on the blood part
User :   citing that BLOOD and brain do not mix - that bleeding on the brain will cause damage to the brain
Doctor :
User :   she told me that she has been getting this drained for YEARS and that her doctors tell her that "the bleeding is not significant enough to cause any kind of damage and draining is fine to manage the blood on the brain"
User :   that does not sound medically feasible
User :   based on my research
Doctor :
yes if there is bleeding it cannot be drained so often
Doctor :
and it leaves its side effect
User :   she tells me that the doctors have advised whenthe pressure is too much (causes headaches) then she needs to come in to have it drained off
User :   she has no side effects
User :   fully and independently functional
Doctor :
but if it CSF the fluid secreated in brain it can be drained
Doctor :
by lumbar puncture
Doctor :
and need not put a whole in the brain
User :   she says specifically this is fluid (which I know can be drained) and BLOOD and that it is drained at the base of her skull - behind her right ear - directly into the soft tissue
User :   is that possible functionally and with the blood causing NO side effects relative to brain damage
Doctor :   no
Doctor :
if bood is there not possible
Doctor :
to be without side effect
User :   right
Doctor :
but if it is only CSF it can be with minimum sisde effect
Doctor :
like headache
Doctor :
User :   right
User :   again - she also claims to have terminal final stage cancer and maintains 400 lbs in body weight also
User :   not to mention that there is no such entity as "nymposidic sarcome"
User :   sarcoma**
User :   lastly - what would cause bleeding on the brain
Doctor :
are you sure she said
Doctor :
nymposidic sarcoma
User :   yes
User :   I verified it with her - she and I were IMing like this
Doctor :
or lymphocytic sarcoma
User :   and she wrote it
User :   nope
User :   I asked if it was spelled right
User :   casue I couldn't find info
User :   her response was "I would never forget how to spell the name of the cancer that is taking my life"
Doctor :
okay sarcoma is a cancer in general
User :   she claims to "live with the bleeding and gets blood drained when it is too much"
User :   right
User :   I knew that (about sarcomas)
Doctor :
how long is this
User :   she says "years"
User :   you said with bleeding there would definitely be side effects
User :   what kind of side effects would be expected?
Doctor :   one is her memory and work will loose accuracy
Doctor :
and aneamia will be there
User :   she doesn't work and she claims to be "in her right mind" regarding any memories
User :   she is on high blood pressure meds
User :   that is all I know for sure
User :   (cause I checked them)
Doctor :
Doctor :
as such the spelling is weird
User :   the rest of it is all based on what she says
User :   and it all sounds hokey
Doctor :
in the dictionary also
User :   and she isn't receiving any cancer treatment
User :   and is maintaining full functionality
User :   and is not "bed ridden" as might be expected at where she is in her cancer stage as she has described (she says final stage)
Doctor :
thats right
Doctor :
atleast severe headache
User :   she claims to have severe headaches
User :   but she says that is due to the blood
User :   in the brain
User :   she claims to be on morphine - but the pill she showed me claiming it was morphine is a high blood pressure medicine
Doctor :
headache is due to the pressure in the brain
Doctor :   okay
User :   lastly - in general (if there is such a thing) how long would someone with final stage cancer be expected to live independently without treatment while bleeding in their brain
Doctor :   less then one year
User :   she has been telling ME this whole thing for about 18 months
User :   and still maintains 400lbs
Doctor :
that will be an medical mystery then
User :   of body weight
Doctor :   because brain is very sensitve organ
Doctor :
and final stage survival rate more than 1 year is almost rarity
User :   without treatment - even more rare?
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :
and sarcoma is a dreaded cancer
User :   right
Doctor :
with high death rate
User :   sounds like this is a medical miracle if it is all true
Doctor :
yes it is if it is true
User :   I am confident it is not (true - that is)
Doctor :
User :   yes?
Doctor :
that it cannot be true
User :   right - sounds that way
Doctor :
as sarcoma even in other parts of body also has more higher death rate
Doctor :
and brain no need to mention
User :   right
User :   she says that she has tumors in her stomach that are "ripping through her intestines" causing (vaginal) hemmorage
User :   and one in her head
User :   and one in her chest
User :   again - no treatment for over a year
User :   and independent
Doctor :
if those are there it will never be possible to be out of hospital
Doctor :
without medical care
User :   she is staying in my house
User :   and only been to the doctor once (so she said)
User :   last question...promise
User :   about going to the doctor
User :   she said she went to the doctor last week and had an MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, and blood drained - all in about 3 - 4 hours
User :   is that even a reasonable time frame
Doctor :
User :   all without being admitted
Doctor :
and does she have the report
User :   she would never show it to me
Doctor :
of this investigations
User :   it is a "privacy" issue according to her
User :   she went - had all tests and was hope by noon
Doctor :
when she has said then where is the privacy
User :   (although I was at work - so, I wouldn't have been home to witness her leave)
User :   right
User :   she is private about the documentation
User :   not the telling me it happened
Doctor :
User :   well - I suppose I have enough information
User :   I am sorry - I am not trying to waste your time
User :   it is just that I am going to tell her she needs to leave
Doctor :
its okay
User :   and I want to make sure that I have my facts straight
Doctor :
User :   (bitch)
User :   just did the survey and thanks!!
Doctor :
User :   have a good day
Doctor :
please fill the feedback form before leaving
User :   I did
User :   thanks
User :   good day
Doctor :
okay bye
