User :   My husband is 48 years old and having pressure around and below neck and having trouble getting good breath. He is not breathing rapidly and this is not asthma. He had some resp infection a few weeks ago and his cough is mainly gone. He is overweight and has mild hypertension. He had a stress test done a couple of months ago and it was normal.

Doctor :   Probably the residual infection is causing inflamatory chnages in his throat which is partially obstructing
User :   he has been tired for last few days and having to nap

User :   sometimes but has sleep apnea, sometimes I nudge him to get him to breath again
Doctor :   Its common for obese patients to have mild difficulty/ irregular respiration during sleep
Doctor :   At present i will suggest you to give him some hot drinks and a salt water gargle in Luke warm water

Doctor :   Prolonged stress and tiredness will also make the larynx flabby during rest/ sleep leading to irregular/ difficult breathing

Doctor :   The cause for burps are sorted, tiredness as said follwing improper sleep, excessive work/tiredness
