User :   actually i have high BP and cholesterol

User :   what all i should take for food

User :   2 months back i had a checkup
Doctor :   it means use only 1/4 the salt u add for the daily foods u eat
Doctor :   do not eat in hotels, no fast foods, which have excess salt

Doctor :   change your diet and lifestyle , and adher to a good lifestyle, and over time you will see good results

Doctor :   i did, say coz, it takes time for high chol to cause HTN
Doctor :   there is more time, and no need to worry right now
Doctor :   as i said earlier, change of diet and lifestyle will be beneficial for u
User :   wether i need to take B.P medicine throughout the life or for time being
Doctor :   it depends how seriously u adher to diet, excercise, and lifestyle changes
User :   yes doctor i alreadu quit smoking
Doctor :   some times, u may not need meds, at all, after a few months, when the body has changed
Doctor :   quting smoking is the one step ahead towards good health
Doctor :   but there are just a few more steps u need to take
Doctor :   also, compliance and then sticking to it , are needed to reduce your BP & cholesterol
