Doctor :   Foods that are good for hair nutrition are dark green leafy vegetables, dried fruits like dates and raisins, eggs, wheat germ, tofu and soy milk, fish, beans, yogurt. Beans and other sprouted vegetables, Vit C rich foods like amla/green chilies, sea weed, avocados, nuts and seeds, brown rice and root vegetables. . A low fat diet and high iron diet can help slow down the hair loss. Remember excess of Vitamin A can cause hair fall say 25,000 I.U per day.

Doctor :   Try exercising in the daytime to help you sleep at night. But avoid evening exercise, as it raises the heart rate and can cause insomnia
Doctor :   Try to maintain a regular sleep routine by: Relaxing in the evening
Going to bed at a regular time
Getting up at a regular time, even if the previous night's sleep was poor
â?¢ Not sleeping in at the weekends
Doctor :   Avoid heavy meals late at night
Avoid drinks containing caffeine â?? such as tea, coffee or soft drinks â?? within 4 hours of bedtime
Avoid alcohol and cigarettes, as these are stimulants
Drinking a glass of warm milk before bedtime may help

Doctor :   Make sure the room is not too hot â?? the ideal temperature is around 18 degree C. Keep your bedroom as dark as possible; you may even consider wearing an eye mask.
