Doctor :   Ok
User :   i am in and i went and saw a doctor about it today
User :   it is huge and looks basically like a bottle cap is under my skin
User :   he told me just to wait it out, and that it was probably caused by an ingrown hair
Doctor :   Ok
User :   but i think it should be popped or removesd
Doctor :   If it is a cyst, excision is beneficial
User :   he didnt give me medicine or anything, just said it will go away in a few days
Doctor :   Ok
User :   i have had it for 4 days now
Doctor :   Did he tell you the diagnosis?
User :   he said that it is in the phase before a fully formed cyst and that it is not "ripe" yet so they cant remove it yet
Doctor :   Ok
User :   but it is huge, so i dont see y not
Doctor :   Do you have pain in the area?
User :   yep a little

Doctor :   Ok
User :   or if the size hasnt gone down
Doctor :   Right
User :   is he righht is saying that i should wait it out till friday
User :   all he did was felt it and asked me questions, no cat scan or anything
Doctor :   There isn't any urgent indication
Doctor :   as you have got it examined
Doctor :   Yes, it can be picked with a clinical examination
User :   i just feel like this is an abnormal sized cyst
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Has the size grown till date?
User :   and what do u mean by picked, removed?
User :   yes
User :   but i think its at its peak, he said that it just isnt "hard enough yet" to remove
User :   are you there?
Doctor :   Yes, I am getting your chats
User :   o
Doctor :   If it is not more
Doctor :   serious, then it is to be left
Doctor :   for sometime
Doctor :   he shall be able to assess it
Doctor :   after it ripens, they aspirate it
Doctor :   but that is not advisable
User :   what should they do instead
Doctor :   It should be excised
Doctor :   because just aspiration is not helpful
User :   he said after it ripens they would make a small incision and pull it out
Doctor :   Okj
Doctor :   I would recommend you to see a General surgeon
User :   like a quarter of a centimeter incision
Doctor :   He shall excise it
User :   the guy i saw was a dermatologist
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   I would recommend a general surgeon
User :   ok
User :   i am highly considering going back to if it does not go down in size by friday
Doctor :   I dont see the reason
Doctor :   for you to travel a long distance for that
User :   the dermotologist really seems to think that it will go down by friday
Doctor :   You can easily get it excised from a General surgeon
User :   so you think that this isnt that big of a deal and that it is a simple surgical procedure?
Doctor :   Yes it is a simple procedure
User :   how likely is it that it could be a tumor or turn into one?
Doctor :   Tumor is fine
Doctor :   but it should be a benign one
Doctor :   a malignant one is of serious concern
Doctor :   and increases in size at an alarming rate
User :   ok
User :   thanks for you help
Doctor :   Do you have any other queries?
