User :   many times but to no avail
User :   My dad has OCD or so he told me

User :   recently I was on Augmentin and Bromehxine for infection
Doctor :   What infection did you have?
Doctor :   These are antibiotics.
User :   I am overweight I am 100 Kgs height 6'0

User :   sleep seems to have become like an addiction

User :   I fear like I have OCD and I used to be addicted to PC games once upon a time
User :   I used to play them all night long

User :   recently I have been dieting and then I keep feeling its related food
Doctor :   1)Grind four nutmegs to make a fine powder out of it. Have this powder every night before going to sleep

Doctor :   2)Hot fomentations help to solve the problem of insomnia. Apply hot packs to the spine and have hot footbath before going to bed.
User :   sometimes if I pay attention I can understand my legs and hand move involuntarily in sleep
User :   it also happens during the day when I have lost too much sleep
User :   could this be a symptom of sleep apnea or manisfestation??

User :   recently I met a doctor for my weight and thats when he mentioned about Sleep Apnea and how you get that feeling in sleep like someone is grappling your neck thats when I realized I had experienced that once (not recently though) what I am worried about is the lack of sleep and whether solving sleep apnea (assuming I have it) will solve it
Doctor :   Sleep Apnoea is a condition in which you experience lack of breathing for some moment That also causes insomnia feeling
Doctor :   Also being overweight causes Sleep Apnoea
User :   At the risk of putting words into mouth what I sincerely believe is that this Sleep apnea exaceberated my OCD and in the process

User :   what should I do if I suspect I have OCD but dont want to go to psychiatrist
Doctor :   Just like that you cannot suspect that it is OCD.
User :   okay so your suggestion I go to a psychiatrist and get it checked?
Doctor :   It will be better if he examines you and then comes to diagnosis
Doctor :   1)Try to concentrate on your work
Doctor :   2)Practice yoga or meditation daily
Doctor :   3)Listen to good music or watch movies
Doctor :   4)Focus and achieve your goals.
Doctor :   5)Do not take unnecessary stress and tension
User :   can you suggest a book on meditation, something easy to read...
