User :   i have a hard, painful and now big lymph node under the left jaw
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hello
User :   i dont know what would be causing this hard and painful lump under my jaw
Doctor :   Since when have you noticed the lymphnode?
User :   it started very small like 1 1/2 month ago
User :   then it became so big just yesterday
Doctor :   Ok
User :   its like i have mumps
Doctor :   Do you have fever?
User :   i had fever 2 weeks ago but i think its because of the flu
Doctor :   Do you have sore throat/difficulty in swallowing?
User :   no
User :   but in my chest i really feel pressure
Doctor :   Do you notice any rashes over the body?
User :   like somebody is standing on me
User :   my face becomes super red anf super hot
Doctor :   Do you have cough/breathing difficulties?
User :   cough yes
User :   only when deep breathing the center of my chest has pressure
Doctor :   Do you produce sputum with the cough?
User :   no
Doctor :   Since when are you having this cough?
User :   2 weeks ago
Doctor :   Can you describe the chest pain?
User :   my son had it first
User :   my chest pain started after my laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Doctor :   Ok
User :   its painfull and its like when there is pressure it feels that your breathing very little air
Doctor :   Is the nature of the pain different in those 2 weeks or is it the same natured pain that you are been having since a long time?
User :   when i started to cough the pain was more noticable
Doctor :   Ok
User :   the pressure in the chest is what im more concerned of compared to the pain
Doctor :   Have you seen a doctor?
User :   not yet
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   let me brief you.
User :   but since yesterday im more concern with the big and painful lymph node
Doctor :   Since you have both cough and the pain/pressure in the pain that increases with cough and breathing, it may be a sign of infection.
Doctor :   The swollen lymphnode again may be due to the same.
Doctor :   You would need evaluation.
Doctor :   I suggest you to see your doctor for physical examination and evaluation.
User :   i had this lymph node before the chest pressure
Doctor :   You may need a chest x ray after the physical examination.
Doctor :   I can understand that.
Doctor :   The symtoms of infections of the chest present in different forms and its not necessary that the pressure and the lymphnode swelling occur at the same time.
Doctor :   The presentation varies.
Doctor :   The swollen lymphnode may arise before the chest pain of later.
Doctor :   But since you complain of cough too, it is necessary that an infection causing agent is ruled out.
User :   is there a connection of why my face becomes so hot
Doctor :   Rashes are part of infections, if you meant redness and not sensation of feeling hot, then it may be related to this condition.
Doctor :   Else they may be unrelated to the infection.
User :   i had this hot in my face since last year
User :   and its always just the face
Doctor :   I shall also advice you, the use of cough suppressant such as syp benadryl 2 tsp thrice a day along with tylenol tablets thrice a day untill you consult your doctor.
User :   i thought because iam already post TAH and Post USO
User :   ok
Doctor :   Was oopherectomy also performed during the TAH?
User :   no it was after 2 years
Doctor :   Ok.
User :   TAH was 2005 and USO 2007
Doctor :   Then the hot flushes you are experiencing over the face may be related to the oestrogen deficiency.
Doctor :   The levels of oestrogen may come down following oopherectomy and that can cause hot flushes.
User :   oh... even i still have 1 ovary remaining?
Doctor :   Much similar to those who experience post menopausal symptoms.
Doctor :   One ovary can secrete estrogen, but the amount secreted is not equal to those secreted by both the ovaries.
User :   yes that is true
Doctor :   Have you followed?
User :   what can i do with the hot flashes?
Doctor :   If these symptoms are severe and if you have other symtoms similar to those experienced by post menopausal women, then you may need hormonal replacement.
Doctor :   But since these are prescription only drugs, I would suggest you to consult your gynaecologist for evaluation and starting this treatment if necessary.
Doctor :   Have you followed what I have suggested?
User :   yes,
Doctor :   Do you have any other query that I can assist you with?
User :   doctor can you be so kind to explain me this
User :   The specimen submitted consists of a uterus with detached lower uterine segment. The uterine corpus measures 7.0x8.0x5.5cm and appears brownish and ovoid. Cut sections reveal a 3.0cm thick myometrium and a pinkish red endometrial layer. Three detached fragments are also submitted. The first appears greyish, irregular, and doughy, measuring 4.0x3.0x2.5cm. The second appears tan measures 5.0 x 3.0 x 2.0cm. The third measures 4.5 x 3.0 x 2.5cm.RSEB7
User :   what does tis say?
Doctor :   May I know the reason for TAH?
User :   massive hemorrhage
Doctor :   These are pathological findings of the uterine specimen.
User :   because of uterine and urinary bladder perforation
Doctor :   I can explain to you these sentences, but without a proper clinical history, its difficult to interpret the findings.
User :   i dont very much understand
User :   all i know is that they repaired my urinary bladder
Doctor :   The pathological findings are beyond the understanding of the common man.
Doctor :   If the uterus was damaged beyond repair, then hysterectomy is the choice of treatment(if you have completed your family).
Doctor :   Have you followed?
Doctor :   Do you have any other query?
User :   yes that is true that is why i am asking you because you as a doctor have the knowledge to interpret it
User :   i was not told that i will have to undergo hysterectomy because i had massive hemorrhage already and had been in hypovolemiv shock
Doctor :   All I can say with the reports that you have mentioned is the segment visualizes the body of the uterus, which is slightly increased and there were few masses visualized.
Doctor :   Those masses may have been the blood.
Doctor :   The amount of uterine damage has not been mentioned in the report.
User :   can it be endometriosis? or fibroid?
User :   cause my grandmother had fibroid and my aunt on the same side of that family had endometrios
Doctor :   Since the details of the endometrosis or fibroid has not been mentioned here and moreover both endometrosis or fibroids are diagnosed after a biopsy of the masses,
Doctor :   its difficult to predict if they were one of these causes.
User :   oh correct me if im wrong
Doctor :   Though fibroid uterus may be one possibility.
User :   to know that masses is that after that it should go thru another separate test>?
Doctor :   In specific a biopsy of the masses is needed to diagnose the cause for those masses.
Doctor :   The findings which you have submitted here is the findings of the whole uterus.
User :   oh and its only that uterus?
Doctor :   And moreover, if it were to be a fibroid or endometrosis, it would have been mentioned in the interpretation.
User :   and it says that the uterus with masses?
User :   yes your right
Doctor :   Yes, the findings that you have given to me refers to the whole sample of the uterus.
Doctor :   Though there is mentioning of the masses, the details of these are not specified.
Doctor :   It can be a blood mass, or a fibroid.
User :   i really appriciate that you explained it to me im just curious as to what that means
Doctor :   Do you have any other query that I can assist you with?
User :   no more thank you very much
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me. Bye for now. Please refer your friends to our service.
