User :   For last few months, i experience a lot of acidity .. how can i help myself ..

User :   I'm 28

Doctor :   Do you smoke or drink alcohol?
Doctor :   Do you take excess spicy or oily food?
Doctor :   Do you have stress and sleep loss?
Doctor :   Are you overweight?
User :   I do eat oily food but not spicy.. but no smoking or alcohol

User :   sleeping is fine, stress level is also moderate ....
Doctor :   do you take excess of citrus fruits ,chocolate
drinks with caffeine or alcohol, fatty and fried foods ,garlic and onion mint flavorings
spicy foods tomato-based foods, like spaghetti sauce, salsa, chili, and pizza
Doctor :   these are the ones that worsen the acid reflux usually
Doctor :   if you take those avoid that now
Doctor :   Take small frequent meals instead of 3 large meals daily
Doctor :   dont lie down immediately after food intake
Doctor :   Wait for at least 1 hr

User :   height is 5.7 and weight is 62
Doctor :   Raise the head of your bed 6 to 8 inches by securing wood blocks under the bedposts. Just using extra pillows will not help.
User :   i have backache problem too .. would using extra pillows be recommended

User :   No .. i have a 4-wheeler drives for 50 min a day

User :   Ok, i guess will rather control onions and tomatoes in my diet. do they contribute significantly to acidity ..
