Doctor :   A common cold results from exposure to the virus. Its intensity, however, depends upon the state of health of the person and environmental factors.
Doctor :   Lemon is the most important among the many home remedies for common cold. It is beneficial in all types of cold with fever. Vitamin C-rich lemon juice increases body resistance, decreases toxicity and reduces the duration of the illness.
Doctor :   One lemon should be diluted in a glass of warm water, and a teaspoon of honey should be added to it. This should be taken once or twice daily.
Doctor :   Garlic soup is an old remedy to reduce the severity of a cold, and should be taken once daily
Doctor :   Garlic contains antiseptic and antispasmodic properties, besides several other medicinal virtues. The oil contained in this vegetable helps to open up the respiratory passages.
Doctor :   Ginger is another excellent remedy for colds and coughs. About ten grams of ginger should be cut into small pieces and boiled in a cup of water. It should then be strained and half a teaspoon of sugar added to it. This decoction should be drunk when hot...
Doctor :   Turmeric is an effective remedy for colds and throat irritations. Half a teaspoon of fresh turmeric powder mixed in 30 ml of warm milk, and taken once or twice daily, is a useful prescription for these conditions

User :   its not on other parts of the face.

Doctor :   just below the eye the swelling can come due to excessive sleep loss, excessive cry etc
Doctor :   While some degree of puffiness may be normal for a given individual, factors such as age and fatigue may make the swelling more prominent.
User :   now its almost turning into a 2nd layer of puffiness
Doctor :   The periorbital tissues are most noticeably swollen immediately after waking, perhaps due to the gravitational redistribution of fluid in the horizontal position.
Doctor :   Eye puffiness may also be caused by: Doctor :   Oversleeping/sleep deprivation
Doctor :   Fluid retention
Doctor :   Diet - Excess salt encourages fluid retention and may lead to puffy eyes
Doctor :   Alcohol and tobacco use - Alcohol and tobacco contain toxins that may lead to stress, fatigue, and hormonal changes; all of which may lead to fluid retention and swelling around the eyes.
Doctor :   Allergies - Allergic reactions can lead to leaks in the subcutaneous capillary beds which can cause swelling in the face, including around the eyes.
User :   i have excess Beer n Cigerattes

Doctor :   A cold compress near the eye can act as a short-term remedy as cold temperature constricts blood vessels, preventing the flow of fluid into tissues and diminishing puffiness in the process

Doctor :   Oversleeping/sleep deprivation - Interrupted sleep cycles are common causes of eye puffiness.
Doctor :   Skin disorders - Eye puffiness can be a side effect of certain skin disorders, such as dermatitis, if the affected area becomes very sensitive, leading to swelling.
Doctor :   Periorbital cellulitis - An inflammation and infection of the eyelid and portions of skin around the eye.
User :   whts interupted sleep cycles. i usually sleep long.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   even that cancause it
User :   can you reccommend any hypnotist ?
Doctor :   Elevating the head while sleeping can prevent the gravitational redistribution of fluid that is associated with eye swelling
Doctor :   A low-carb diet can prevent eye puffiness by preventing water retention. Eating foods rich in vitamins, especially A, C and E, helps to reduce eye puffiness and to maintain clear, moist skin

Doctor :   Apply a paste of fresh fenugreek - methi leaves in water over the face every night and washed with warm water in the morning for preventing pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, dryness, and wrinkles.
Doctor :   Make a paste of sandalwood with rose water. Apply on affected area. Wash it off after 20-30 minutes with lukewarm water.
Doctor :   Make a paste of neem leaves with turmeric powder. Apply on affected area. Wash it off after 20-30 minutes with lukewarm water. This is a good cure of acne.
Doctor :   Make orange peel paste by grinding it in some water. Apply on and around pimples.
Doctor :   did you understand?
Doctor :   You must also make it a point to exfoliate your face every other day as well. This will remove the surface layer of dead skin that sticks to your face and adds to the oiliness. It will also enable your pores to open up and help with fighting the problem of acne.
Doctor :   Use any exfoliating agent specially formulated for oily skin. You can add a few drops of lime juice to it for better results. Try to do this before bath time, as this is when it will be most effective.
Doctor :   Is there anything else i can help you with now?
Doctor :   Are you there?
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting....
Doctor :   Bye for now..........
Doctor :   Take care.........
