User :   Hi, I shall explain you one term after the other
User :   Benign indicates it is not malignant and is not at all cancerous and is not dangerous and does not spread to other parts of the body through blood or lymph.
User :   Cyst is something that has a seperate lining or epidermal layer seperating it from the rest of the renal tissue and is quite seggregated and has a seperate blood supply
User :   It is very common and occurs in about 50% of people over the age of 50. Renal cysts account for 60-65% of all renal masses. Many people have them and it is usually benign. A cyst is defined as a membranous sac containng fluid. A simple renal cyst is a classification given to renal cysts that "appear round or oval... without infections, calcifications, septations or divisions of its walls. Most of these lesions are benign simple cysts that require no further evaluation, intervention or urologic
User :   And it is there in the cortical part of the kidney.
User :   Hope you have followed
User :   Are you there ?
User :   Do you have any symptoms like urinary pain, change in urinary character and pain abdomen ?
User :   yes, some pain when passing urine at times, and urine is very dark, dark, yellow almost orange, especially first thing in the morning. And when I urinate there is no pressure, it just seems to come in spurts, and takes up to 60 seconds or more.
User :   Ok.
User :   May I know how large is the cyst ?
User :   it is 25mm in diameter
User :   It is not a big cyst though it is causing lot of symptoms.
May I know your age please ?
User :   54
User :   Ok.
User :   I would suggest a review by the urologist and if it is just a single cyst , the you can opt for a laparoscopic surgery.
User :   Is it soft or does it have any hard materials in it ?
User :   blood analysis at the hospital lab indicates blood in my urine
User :   If it has any hard tissues or causing pain and other symptoms which are causing problem , then i would suggest a surgery.
User :   Ok.
User :   Then you should goo for an excission and if it is single and not multiple there is no need to worry, you have to opt for a surgery,
User :   Do you have anything else to ask ?
User :   I might need some more time to help you better if you have anythinng else to ask ?
User :   Thank you for consulting me, Take care
User :   bye for now
