User :   i want to know that is she pregnant or not
User :   as she bleeded after having sex
Doctor :   ok. watch out for the symptoms that I listed above. these symptoms suggest early pregnancy
Doctor :   the bleeding after intercourse can also suggest pelvic infection
Doctor :   is the having any pain? vaginal discharge or smell associated with the bleeding?
User :   no not such
Doctor :   is the bleeding that she is having bright red or changed in color?
User :   that i havn't asked her
Doctor :   ok. ask her about these details and get her examined by a gynecologist to look for any local cause for her bleeding
Doctor :   if no local cause is found, then wait for her periods to stop
User :   how can it be pelvic infection her periods were started and on second day we had sex after sex the bleeding stopped and when she bleeded it was nt normal
User :   as it used to b on other dayz
Doctor :   if she develops any of the other symptoms, then get a blood beta HCG test done to confirm/rule out pregnancy
Doctor :   pelvic infection can happen anytime in women who are sexually active.
User :   what would be the colour of bleeding if shes not pregnant
Doctor :   the bleeding with intercourse is one of the indications
User :   we used to have sex once in 3-4 months
Doctor :   the colour of the bleeding might be lighter, pinkish or brownish

Doctor :   what is the usual time of intercourse? is it before her periods or after her periods or in between her cycles?
User :   o.k dr tell me that if she gets pregnant bleeding would have stopped or not but she is still bleeding
User :   after her periods
Doctor :   if she is pregnant, her bleeding will not be like her usual periods, it can continue for few days in spurts or it can stop afte 2-3 days
Doctor :   it varies in women
User :   we can say there are chances of getting pregnant
Doctor :   since the bleeding is still continuing after 3 days, she should get an examination done
Doctor :   to see what the exact cause for such bleeding is
Doctor :   such that treatment can be directed towards stopping it.
User :   dr i am telling u that only her periods has started 1 day before we had sex
Doctor :   yes i understand that and I reconfirmed with you about it
User :   but she is still getting periods
User :   i am bit nervous please help me
User :   how to get out of this problem
Doctor :   I would suggest you to relax first. i will explain to you again
Doctor :   1) get an examination done for her to see if there is any local cause of the bleeding such as any infection or hurt
Doctor :   2) get her started on treatment as indicated after examination.
Doctor :   3) if no local cause or pelvic infection si found and she develops symptoms suggesting early pregnancy
User :   but she is not ready to go dr
Doctor :   then get a blood beta HCG test done
User :   she is scared if some one comes to know
User :   what can be the medicines taken to avoid pregnancy
Doctor :   she is having the bleeding so she has to take consultation for it, else she will continue to lose bleed and it might affect her health if it continues more.
Doctor :   if the pregnancy had to happen, it would have already happened, nothing can be taken at present to 'avoid' it.
Doctor :   she should have taken emergency contraception after the unprotected intercourse to avoid pregnancy.
Doctor :   and in such cases it should have been taken within 72 hours of the intercourse.
Doctor :   at this point she has to consider going for an examination
User :   she told me that bleeding is in brown colour
Doctor :   by a gynecologist to examine her locally, that is a vaginal examination
Doctor :   ok, brown color bleeding along with her symptoms suggest two things
Doctor :   1) old blood draining from uterus
Doctor :   2) pregnancy
Doctor :   both will require detailed evaluation
User :   means
Doctor :   she will require examination, blood tests for HCG, and other hormonal levels, pelvic ultrasound for her
Doctor :   to look for the cause of her bleeding
Doctor :   and start with appropriate treatment
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
User :   sir wait
User :   the colour was little canged from usual dayz
User :   colour of bleeding
Doctor :   ok
User :   i want to know if i havnt cummed inside how can she pregnant
Doctor :   even if you have not had ejaculation inside her, there are chances of her getting pregnant with 'pre-cum' which is known to have sperms
Doctor :   withdrawal method of birth control is associated with highest failure rate
Doctor :   have you followed what I said?
User :   but i mastubated before hvn sex
Doctor :   ok, then it increases chances of sperms being present in the pre-cum or the lubricating fluid
User :   we had sex on 23rd can she take i-pill
User :   now
Doctor :   if 72 hours is nor passed since teh time of intercourse she can take emergency contraception
User :   i am more tensed now
User :   it was 10.00am on 23rd
User :   please tell can she take pills now
Doctor :   it is almost near to 55 hours since your unprotected intercourse
User :   means she can take it
Doctor :   she can take it, but it will be better if she takes it under supervision since she is having abnormal bleeding
User :   does it have any side effects
Doctor :   it does have side effects like nausea, acne, stomach cramps, increased bleeding etc,
User :   no if a girl becomes pregnant bleeding stops at all
User :   or she bleeds after that also
Doctor :   bleeding can continue
Doctor :   in few women
User :   can i suggest her to take pills
User :   thanx dr for consulting
Doctor :   i would recommend that she discusses with a gynecologist before taking it since she is already having the bleeding (which is not like her normal periods)
Doctor :   is there anything else I can help you with?
Doctor :   are you there?
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me . bye for now.
