User :   My father is being treated by Psychatrist for last 7-8 years. His problems seems to have all signs of Parkinsonism - termors, reduced movement, difficulty in maintaining balance while walking, difficulty on swallowing food but he also shows typical signs of psychological problems like fear of unknown, depression, loss of appetite, lack of interest, social withdrawal.I am in a dilemma. Shall I approach neurologist or continue with psychatriac consultation

User :   why i had this doubt is that recently he was in hospital due to fall and injury and a psychatriast also attended him- he looked at medicines prescribed by treating doctor like Madopar(levdopa) and said normally we dont use this but i suppose this one main treatment for Parkinsonism

User :   he said he is showing sign parkinsonism
