User :   Hello, I'm a young student I don't have money to pay I'm afraid but I'm quite worried about a problem I have with my health

User :   I've had a very sore stomach for a while now it was intermitent now it's constant. I wake up with the pain and it really hurt quite alot when I sit down to a meal it just seems to worsen. Things like Mint peppermint ant acids burn my stomach and I'm not sure why..I'm always tired aswell
User :   I have a milkshake that cools it down but then it comes back worse same with coffee.
User :   Milkshakes though now are really starting to make me worse and I have no idea what this is or how to even treat it
Doctor :   does that alter wit food?
User :   My stomach is always bloated and very hard to touch
User :   Food (depending what I eat) makes it worse
Doctor :   wt food worsen it?
User :   Anything spicy or onions etc.
User :   I had a roast lanmb dinner with mint sauce and the mint just burnt

User :   it started 2 months ago bit it was intermitent like I said only recently has it been contant and more painful
Doctor :   k.. can u make out exact site of the pain over ur abdomen..
User :   I feel like I will vomit all the time but I don't actually vomit and I'm easily cold now and I never used to be
User :   It starts and the middle spreads to the top and bottom.
Doctor :   i mean upper region or to right left or below the bellybotton?
User :   It's just like band right round the whole of my abdomen and the pain just spreads upper and lower
Doctor :   k.. wt kind of pain it is?.. more of a burning or like sqeezing or prickin or somethin else like?
User :   I can't explain it...if it's extreme pain then it sort of paralyses me for a little while then eases off, but its just a constant pain..if I eat something like mint antacids peppermint onions etc then it burns like I feel something inside my stomach is burning or on fire.
Doctor :   k.. have u ever take any medicine for this?
User :   No
Doctor :   will milk reduce ur pain?
User :   Only for a little while then it comes back worse

User :   No never have one in my house smokes either.
Doctor :   are u under any kind of stress?.. like exams, emotional disturbance..
User :   Not really..
Doctor :   whats the colour of ur stools?
User :   Well...normal kinda..
Doctor :   r u sure.. is nt it like black or tarry ever?
User :   There was only once where it was black and about 3 dare where is was very pale but its normal now.
User :   But I do have diorreah

Doctor :   do u have vomiting?
User :   Not properly I'll almost vomit but nothing happens but have it contantly everyday
Doctor :   so u have feeling of about to vomit.. its called nausea..k..
User :   Yes thats right
Doctor :   i would suggest u to undergo an endoscopy..
User :   Well what do you think it is?
Doctor :   its an investigation where the inside of ur stomach..
Doctor :   ur symptoms suggest of an acute gastritis or gastritic ulcer..
User :   Is it serious?
User :   If it is that problem what is the treatment?
Doctor :   not really there are good no. of drugs to cure..
User :   Could it turn cancer?
Doctor :   do u remember of takin pain killer tablets?
User :   I took a dose or "Paramol" once but they didn't really work for this pain but that was ages ago.
Doctor :   no more on chronic bases?
User :   No I just took milk or a coffee which soothed it but then it came back
Doctor :   coffee , tea, spicy food will only increase it.. so u better avoid them.. milk and juices , food on regular bases will help u..
User :   I see well could this turn serious?? Like Cancer? What treatment can I do or take?
Doctor :   wt abt fever?
User :   I sometimes have a fever yes but not often. I'll feel my whole body is sweating when it isn't
Doctor :   and wt abt ur weight? have u noticed any significant weight loss since having these symptoms..
User :   My mum has noticed a loss of weight.
Doctor :   havent u checked it?
User :   No I haven't
Doctor :   k.. dont be too much worried..
Doctor :   u better undergo physical examination once.. wt u say for that?
User :   I have no faith in local doctors and can't get to one because of my work.
User :   Can this lead to cancer?
Doctor :   do u have any of ur family members with stomach cancer? present or past?...hey u better undergo once examination.. search for good doctor..
User :   Yes there has been in the past.
User :   Do you think it's cancer?
Doctor :   who?..
User :   My uncle.
Doctor :   k.. dont do self diagnose..
Doctor :   stomach cacer is rare.. but it cant be ruled wit out examination..
User :   Well why do certain foods burn my stomach? What will stop the burning?
User :   How certain are you on it being a stomach ulcer? This is quite worrying...
Doctor :   its coz of wearing away of gatric protective layerin called ur symptoms are very significant
Doctor :   i strongly suggest u to undergo physcical examination immediately..
User :   I can't afford to, thats why I was looking for someone like yourself.
User :   I'm a poor student.

Doctor :   dont u have any governament hospitals?
User :   No.
Doctor :   do u have any swellings in ur neck region?.. mainly left side?
User :   Not that I can feel..
Doctor :   fine.. if u once undergo physical examination n get one or two investigations..they will come to provisional diagnosis..
User :   I really can't afford to go to a doctor or hospital
Doctor :   k atleast can u get ur endoscopy done?
User :   I would have to pay and I just can't afford it
Doctor :   see man thats least u can do.. if ve come to some provisional diagnosis we can prescribe some drugs..
User :   I would still have to pay a huge amount of money and I just can't afford it thats why I came to you
Doctor :   k.. how m uch they charge for one consultation?
User :   about £100 wich I just haven't got being a poor student
Doctor :   k i vll tell u some drugs.. ask if they are available as over the counter drugs..
User :   ok
Doctor :   ask for rantidine 150 mg or else pantaprazole 40 mg tablets.. if they are not otc s then they will ask for priscription..
User :   Right there any specific food I should avoid and not avoid.
User :   What if I can't get those drugs over the counter what else can I take?
Doctor :   spicy foods say no.. eat 4 times daily without fail.. take cold milk no coffee or tea.. dont think too much of gastric cancer.. relax urself, get involved in other things..
User :   Any other medication I can take other than prescription drugs?
Doctor :   not at present.. will consider if needed..Is there any thing else I can help you with?
User :   No thats ok thanks
