Doctor :   No problem
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   so first of all let me ask you if you are experiencing any symptoms ?
User :   I am a little fatigued and constipated. I have a little belly fat and also sometimes have trouble sleeping. Other than that I feel pretty healthy.
Doctor :   May i know your age and gender please ?
User :   female
User :   62 yrs old
Doctor :   Well from the lab values you have given me , you are in the control range that means that you are taking the correct dose. as the normal values varies with age and it is considered in a range
Doctor :   So there is nothing to worry about
Doctor :   Do you have any other medical problems ?
User :   My doctor wants to reduce the medicine to 30 mg since my TSH is so low. They are putting me on 30 mg, is that also okay?
Doctor :   We call it as dose tapering and it all depends how your body responds to the dosage .. its always better to reduce the dosage. so if your dose is reduced you will be under monitor
Doctor :   to see how well you adapt
Doctor :   so there is nothing wrong in that
User :   Okay, what symptoms can one have with a low TSH? I do feel anxious at times
Doctor :   This includes fatigue, palpitations, nervousness, insomnia, increased bowel movements, trembling hands, weight loss, muscle weakness, hair loss etc.
User :   Okay, I will try the new dosage and see how I do. I don't believe I have any other health issues at this time so thanks, AAAAAAA
Doctor :   Well the right dose for a thyroid disease is based on understanding how your body responds when we change the dose
User :   How soon should I notice any changes?
Doctor :   in a weeks time
User :   Okay, I will see how I do then and let you know.
Doctor :   But as for now things are ok with you as your lab values are not alarming
Doctor :   your most welcome
