User :   no
User :   never did
Doctor :   has the node now decreased in size ?
User :   i was just scared it was cancerous since i read online that some nodes may be inflammed and not cause pain
Doctor :   no
Doctor :   not at all
Doctor :   for nodes to be cancerous, you need to have a very large node and have to be located inside the body
Doctor :   superficial nodes usually enlarge following infections , which ins some cases may not be known to patients
User :   i see
User :   the node im talking about is pea shaped
User :   a small pea nonetheless
Doctor :   In that case , no need to worry at all
Doctor :   You can take some pain killers like ibuprofen
Doctor :   and it will subside
User :   oooft, i went to the doctor earlier this week
User :   and i was prescribed erythromycin
User :   and had strong side effects
Doctor :   ok, ..
Doctor :   so what did the doctor tell after examination ?
User :   well he said he couldnt feel much of an enlargement
User :   and that if i actually did feel anything
User :   it might be an ingrown hair or something
Doctor :   In that case, you need not worry at all
Doctor :   the node will subside within a week or two
User :   if it says more on the surface
User :   is there reason to worry?
User :   even if it's pea shaped?
Doctor :   no , not at all
Doctor :   yes
User :   im confused about no, not at all and 'yes'
Doctor :   i meant that even if the lesion is just at or around the swelling, taking antibiotics will cure it
User :   i see
User :   also, are lymph nodes attached to one another? because it seems like there's two pea shaped ones
User :   small
User :   that are stuck together
Doctor :   there are a group of 4-6 lymph nodes arranged in the form of a cross in the groin
User :   i see
User :   so if they're both pea shaped and small then everything is fine?
