User :   I am 29/f, and I have noticed a small lump under my armpit, well under both armpits actually, but a little more noticible on the right side. They don't bother me, you can't see them by looking. They are very movable, meaning, when I try to get a hold of one to see if its hard or soft, it flips away in the opposite direction. It seems like they are right under the skin...there is nothing on the outside of my skin that's visible. Im just very paranoid about my health and I dont want it to be lymphoma or something. I have a small lump on the side of my neck to, movable, but I think its been there all my life. I know, I go looking for things when I probably shouldn't. I am not overweight, I do smoke, but other than that, no medical problems. Thanks.
User :   ok
Doctor :   May I know the size of the lesion?
User :   um maybe the size of a pea?
Doctor :   Ok
User :   like i said, a little easier to find on the right side, but its in almost the same spot on the left
Doctor :   Did you have fever?
User :   no fever or other symptoms
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Have you consulted a doctor for the same?
User :   no not yet, i think ive noticed them before, like they have always been there, but i just forgot and found them again yesterday
User :   and im kinda freaking out
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Do they feel like lymph nodes, if you are aware of?
User :   at my last pap they did a feel of my armpits and didnt say anything but that was last year...
User :   that was my next question, are lymph nodes deeper in the tissue?
Doctor :   No
Doctor :   they are seen under the skin
User :   cause im not sure if they feel like lymph nodes or not
Doctor :   as well
User :   it almost feels like fatty tissue
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Lymph nodes are not as soft as fat tissue
Doctor :   in consistency
User :   but then again i dont know what that feels like just know they are movable, they dont hurt, and they feel kinda muscly or fatty, not hard
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   I suggest you to consult a general surgeon for the same
Doctor :   and get it confirmed
Doctor :   or a Physician is also fine for diagnosis
User :   what is your opinion?
Doctor :   Infact, I would prefer a Physician
Doctor :   as I dont see an surgical problem here
User :   do you think it sounds more like lymph nodes or fatty tissue?
Doctor :   Lymph nodes
Doctor :   and that shall be mainly in response to a local pathology
Doctor :   in the lungs and the surrounding areas
User :   what does that mean?
Doctor :   since you have said that there is no other symptoms
Doctor :   you should get it confirmed with a Physical examination in person
Doctor :   it has be felt to comment accurately
Doctor :   Are you getting it?
User :   i see
User :   but what did you mean about the lungs and local pathology?
Doctor :   like a lung infection
Doctor :   or a problem in the breast
Doctor :   nothing to panic
Doctor :   just the possibilities
User :   lung cancer?
Doctor :   It is very prematue to comment on that
Doctor :   with only certain lymph nodes as the basis
User :   i dont think i have a lung infection, i dont have symptoms of anything
Doctor :   Fine
Doctor :   but certain chronic conditions
Doctor :   do not show up symptoms
Doctor :   but remains silent
Doctor :   for that to be ruled out it has to be seen
User :   ok thanks
Doctor :   infact there are certain soft tissue growths which can see
Doctor :   without any underlying pathology
