User :   I am very concerned about my father. I need some advise because I don't think he is being honest with me.
User :   I saw the purple foot last night.
User :   I don't know how long it has been there.
Doctor :   Is he diabetic

User :   His skin is also changing color. I see his face and arms often. He's always been dark complected but he is now changing to gray.

User :   He says that it is, but from what I see him eat and drink (beer) I don't see how it can be.
User :   He is beginning to get nose bleeds a lot, frequent headaches and now he tells me that his urine is brown in color.

User :   I am begging him to go to a different doctor, we are in a small town and these guys are good for sore throats and what-not, but I'm sensing there's more to this.

User :   Do you have thoughts on his coloring? - I'm not trying to diagnos him over the internet, I'm just afraid he won't tell me what is really going on. And I appreciate your help here.
