User :   I have problem of Cold and cough

User :   35;Soft Engg,Married
Doctor :   how long have you been having this problem?
User :   Its recurring time to to Past 10 years
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   how often do you get this?
User :   It start from sneezing and the nose choke and them cough which finaly result in cough in chest
User :   On avg every three months
Doctor :   Do you have any nose block/ snoring at night?
User :   No snoring, but as this probelm starts, nose will get choke ( means when sneezinfg stops)

Doctor :   Have you been to an ENT for a physical examination to rule out a DNS or any other nasal obstruction ?
User :   and when nose choke is clear then the cough at chest will start
User :   Yes visited couple of times and and got tab called montek
User :   while taking this drug I did not get any problem , when I stop this aftrer some days the same prolem will be repeated

Asthma/allergies etc?

User :   Doctor told me that its due to Dust allargy but I get this problem all the year irrespective of any season/month

User :   When the cough problem increased to cough at chest that time I get the breathing problem also

User :   Yes Montair

Doctor :   Have you also seen a chest physician for this problem?
User :   Yes... many times whenever problem increased to cough at Chest
User :   They will aks for X ray and everytime it comes as negative and I will get some medicine for chest infection
Doctor :   Were you put on any other lo0ng term medications- other than Montair, at any time?
Doctor :   Do you smoke/drink alcohol/Any other habits?

If yes how much/how often?
User :   NO such habits. I got madicine for the curing the the chest infection for about 30 days that is the logest duration medicine

User :   Outside also I have been in many part of india and facing this problem everywhere

Doctor :   Did any of the specialist you went to say you were having asthma/bronchitis?
User :   Not yet as moving around a lot in past years

Doctor :   as you are having - this problem since many years and
Doctor :   have breathing difficulty as well- there is a possibility that you have asthma
Doctor :   The tablet you have taken montair gives relief in cases of chronic asthma as well
Doctor :   If an ENT has ruled out any nasal physical/other cause for your recurrent colds/ coughs
Doctor :   My advice is - You should see a pulmonologist for a complete physical examination and discuss your problem in detail with him.
