User :   well. it is a problem with my jaw
User :   when i talk or eat something that is chewey or tough. my jaw will click, and when i shift my jaw to the left. it clicks more. and then if i tense up my jaw and shift it to the left. it will lock up

User :   people were telling me it was tmj or somthing like that. some said i was about to get lockjaw and some were saying that a mouthpiece for nightime would fix it

User :   well. after my mom wakes up i am going to see if she can make an apountment today. cuz this morning i woke up and thought i had lockjaw cuz it would not move and it was popping like crazy. but i still would like to know wat i can do to stop it

Doctor :   Applying warm, moist heat or ice to the side of your face may help you relax your muscles or alleviate pain.
