User :   I had a 20 week sonogram and they saw a cholorid plexus cyst. i then opted for a amnio
User :   the results came back ok..
User :   preliminary results
User :   no other markers present
User :   what will happen to the cyst
User :   will it dissolve and if not then what??
User :   all blood work good..

User :   chromosome 13 18 21 all okay
User :   no other symtoms.. all markers on baby are great. bloodwork all good
User :   what if it doesnt dissolve before baby is born?
User :   will it affect her in someway?

Doctor :   it will NOT affect the baby . the cyst get atrophied
Doctor :   there is nothing to worry about
User :   what does atrophied mean?\
User :   can it cause epilepsy or seizures down the road?

Doctor :   absolutely not and since all the tests are NORMAL so there is no worries
User :   can chromosomes change once they are formed correctly.. Considering they have now seen the chromosomes and they are perfectly fine. They cant just change later right
Doctor :   chromosomal abnormalities occur in the beginning and NOT once they are formed
User :   What is your experience in this field?
Doctor :   if they are normal now they will stay normal thats why we screen them
