User:to remove that over grown part
Doctor:Look it is normal to have thymus gland in children
Doctor:They can grow till teenage
Doctor:13 to 15 yrs
Doctor:later it disappears
User:today one pediatric surgeon also checked baby
Doctor:This gland is very helpful to develop immmunity ( fighting system) against a lot of antigens / bacteria in your child
Doctor:I think your baby's problem is different from overgrown thymus
User:we are waiting for his opinion
User:different problem means i didnt get u Dr
Doctor:The baby problem may not be related to thymus
Doctor:She may have simple infection that causes cough
Doctor:The diaphragm is not very active in the child hood
User:k Dr
Doctor:What is the doctor's primary opinon about cough
User:she gave syrup & antibiotic
User:one more thing she observed is baby isbreathing very fastly
User:immediatly she asked for x-ray
Doctor:it means the baby needs intense monitoring, when the baby has respiratory (airway) infection
Doctor:they breathe fast
Doctor:In this they lose a lot of water, so it is important that the baby is replaced with fluids
Doctor:If the doctor wants to admit the baby let she be admitted
Doctor:What I would like to say to you is, these are completely treatable
Doctor:and you should not worry about the future of the baby
Doctor:She should come out of it easily and fast
User:we already admitted our baby
Doctor:if the treatment is good
User:in ur opinion what kind of treatment will be good
User:ok Dr then thymus related is not a problem
User:so problem is with diaphram only right
