User:my 2.5 yr old kid is complaining of stomach ache, his stools are mucousy little darker in colour
User:what can i do to relieve his problem
Doctor:May I know since when he has this symptom?
User:since morning. he has passed stool 3 -4 times by now
Doctor:May I know if he has fever?
Doctor:Is he vomiting?
Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:The symptoms he has is suggestive of gastroenteritis.
User:the stools smell also
Doctor:Presence of abdominal pain is bit worrying.
Doctor:Give him plenty of fluid.
User:the stomach pain happens when he is about to pass stool
Doctor:you can also give him bifilac. This comes as XXXXXXX which you can mix in a small bowel and feed him.
Doctor:One XXXXXXX per with half glass of water to be fed.
Doctor:The same thing to be repeated three times a day.
Doctor:If the pain increases, you need to visit a pediatrician for clinical examination and evaluation.

Doctor:Most important is sign of dehydration. Sunken eyelids, shrinky skin, reduced tears/urination, drowsiness, refusal to feed and play are signs of dehydration.

Doctor:Apart from that occurrence of fever and worsening of abdominal pain will need medical attention.
