User :   ok...I have very occasional "cramp-like" sensations in my heart. I had one today while on the treadmill and it lasts only a second or two. Before I can yelp, it is gone and I may or may not get another one for two - six months. I was followed up for this years ago but they never found anything but I am concerned about it. I have no other symptoms -- no shortness of breath, no other pain in my heart, no palpitations, etc. It is sudden and crazy enough feels almost like a menstrual cramp in your heart?? I am a healthy 57 y.o. female. Could this be angina, chest wall pain, anxiety? I'm perplexed? xxxxx
Doctor :   I do not think this is something to be anxious or worried about
Doctor :   Since it is some time that you had evaluation done with TMT/ Stress test, I would suggest you to undergo
Doctor :   once again
Doctor :   If you do not have any associated symptoms, most of the chest pains are less serious
User :   so what do you think this could be then?
Doctor :   I cannot reasonably say the cause of your problem now
Doctor :   It can be gut related too
Doctor :   or heart related
Doctor :   Either of them but I mean is not worrisome
User :   Well, I don't mean to be a wise guy but you say it doesn't seem worrisome but you cannot reasonably say could be heart related or gut related and neither of them is not worrisome? Hmmmm? doesn't really help me?
User :   I guess you are just saying to go back and have another stress test?
Doctor :   There are no associated symptoms
Doctor :   and you do not have theproblem on exertion
Doctor :   hence I do not consider the worrisome
Doctor :   I have to examine you physically to say why is it so
