Doctor :   You can.
User :   what are the chances of it happening?
Doctor :
I cannot predict the chances, however,
Doctor :
pills are know to have a failure rates of upto 20%.
User :   Does being sick, taking tablets and being very fertile make the the chances higher?
Doctor :
A few medications are known to lower the efficacy of these pills, and can cause failure.
User :   has it happened to many people?
Doctor :   Medications especially few antibiotics.
Doctor :
May I know what medications you had taken for your flu symptoms?
User :   just cold and flu tablets from the supermarket day and night ones but i did not take them properly. I took 1 then forgot 2 take the next one
Doctor :
Since the medications is unknown, I cannot comment on the real possibility if the drugs that you used are the cause.
Doctor :
If you have the symptoms of pregnancy, I would suggest you to get the pregnancy tests done.
Doctor :
As getting the test, is a better way of confirming if you are pregnant.
Doctor :
Have you followed?
User :   ok but do things lke sickness and inconsistency with pill factor into falling pregnant? I already know i'm pregnant I was on the pill but i did miss some every now and then and i fell pregnant around the time i got sick
Doctor :
Yes, if you have been inconsistent with the pills and have taken drugs that can reduce the efficacy of the contraceptive pills they can be the cause for failure.
Doctor :
Have you followed?
