User :   I have a question related to hiv
Doctor :   ok
User :   I had a sex with a married women on 10 May 2008. I used a condom while doing it, but at last when i had my ejection some fluid came out of the condom & dropped on her vagina and floor . I at once rushed to the wash basin & took out the condom carefully and washed my penis .After one week i developed some flu like symtoms . My symtoms gradually went away in a period of 10 days approx. as i took medicines for them . I waited for 2 months time & took "Screening test for HIV 1 & 2 Antibodies - ELISA TRIDOT" at a local Pathlogy and the result was negative . Again this month i.e on 12 August 2008 i again took the same test & it was also negative.
sir should i go for another test or it is conclusive ? Are there chances of a false report as the test was a Rapid spot test ? Should i go for other kinds of HIV tests available ?
