User :   on my left leg midway between knee and ankle
User :   to the left of the bone there is a spot that is extremely painful

User :   it does not really hurt to walk. But during a massage last week when touched I screamed

User :   it seems like the tibialias anterior

User :   there is no ankle involvement
Doctor :   I would recommend blood tests, and an Xray of the affected leg

User :   that is what is so strange
User :   but touching is very very painful
User :   one of those pains you have to breath thru
User :   and sometimes things hurt for a second then its gone
Doctor :   In that case its something underlying that part of the leg

User :   when i did google searches...where is hurts it like shins splints but it deosnt have any of the characteritsitcs of shin splints at all

User :   chiropractor looked at it
User :   he said it was the tibilias anterior

Doctor :   I would advice u to get an Xray of the leg

Doctor :   and CBC, ESR, - blood tests
User :   it doesnt sound like shin splints?
